It was fast and ok for Waffle House. The coffee was drinkable and the eggs were a little over done. The low rating is because we felt as though the server wanted us to leave , understandable if it was busy but it was 130am in the morning and absolutely empty ! So weird

Ahhh, the Waffle House. It's like that girl you "date" but you don't want any of your friends and family to find out. You're sneaking in and out either late at night or early in the morning, and after you're done, you just feel ashamed. Much like the girl, the good about this Waffle House is that it's quick and cheap. Normally can walk in and out for either a sit-down meal or take-out in 10-15 minutes and for less than $10 (tax and tip). Breakfast go-to is, obviously, the waffle with a side of bacon. For lunch and dinner, almost always go with the patty melt. The bad, the questionable clientele. It is North Charleston, so no big surprise here, but with the rent-by-the-hour motels surrounding, it's even more seedy. Also, it wouldn't hurt them to wipe down the tables and chairs. Everything has a stickiness to it.

Worst Waffle House. The food tasted fine, but some of it arrived ice cold. The store is laid out poorly, lots of empty space beside 2-person booths. Try another Waffle House, they're usually much better than this.

I LOVE Waffle House, but sadly, this one is sad and unfortunate. Every vacant table (and most were vacant) was filthy with dirty plates, cups, utensils and left-behind food. It took a good long time (15-20m) to get the attention of a waitress to clear a booth for our small party of two, then the long wait to order, then the even longer wait for the food to arrive. How does that happen? I asked for my eggs "sunny side up", a style the waitress had never heard of before. Honestly?!? Was this her first day?? When she ordered from the cook on the grill, he said: "Oh! You mean SUNNY SIDE UP." -- obviously something wasn't quite right with this employee. My waffle was raw and gooey on the inside, but dry and stale on the outside. My grits were served cold. My coffee must have been the bottom of the pot, full of grinds and it tasted burnt. I'm happy to report that everything else (eggs, toast and bacon) were served all right. Sorry Waffle House, I really do love you, but this one needs to be ploughed under -- it's giving you a bad reputation. Here's a helpful note to any persons interested in getting yummy Waffle House food at this location: If you travel 1/3 mile north-east on Ashley Phosphate Rd (crossing over I-26) and turn left onto Northwoods Blvd, you'll find a MUCH better Waffle House! (Just across the highway - it's walking distance!!)

We ate here for breakfast because it was mere steps from our motel room. Let me say first, I am VERY familiar with Waffle House restaurants. I live in rural North Georgia, and sometimes you just want some familiar diner food, at a good price. Familiar diner food, fast, at a good price is exactly what I had. The staff was friendly. The cook evidently knew what he was doing. I ordered my eggs "over medium" - they were *perfect*. The bacon was done correctly, the hash browns are just what I expect (and like from a Waffle House). All in all, if you're in the area and want what my family affectionately calls your "dose of Vitamin G" then stop in.

Service was extremely slow. The place was dirty and the order was wrong. Waffle Houses are generally decent places to grab a quick bite at a reasonable price but you should avoid this one like the plague.

Came in for a quick bite after a long day of travel and had the worst service ever. we had two tables and both placed our orders at the same time. the first table got their food before we even got our water!!! I'm never going back to this place again!
